It seems a visit to the doctor may be the only answer. I have never read anything to indicate a hand shake in PBC. Others may come along soon who will have experience of such a symptom.

hope you find an answer soon

Hi it could be down to your medication you might be on, I have had a liver transplant and my right hand shakes also but they tell me its the anti rejection drugs I'm on

Hello, I had hand tremors and cramping before transplant. It went away immediately. I believe both are symptoms people can experience with liver disease. I would speak to your doctor. Best of luck to you!

My Doctor makes me squeeze his hand at my appointment. He says if they shake and quiver the liver disease maybe advanced. That is what I was told :(

My hands have been shaking for a long time but I was told it's only stage one. Maybe other things happening so I would be looking for blood tests to rule out stuff. Good luck.

My Mom has Parkinson's . But I had a stroke about 8 yrs ago. But it was the other side- I had no 'damage' from my stroke. I also have anxiety disorder & takes meds for that when needed. Just makes you wonder thank for everyone's input and thoughts!!

I had intentional tremor on my right hand. I would overclick on my mouse etc. I did that mainly when I was under intense stress due to my mom's decline. I have it occasionally when I'm super tired. I had never heard of liver disease and shaking being equated with each other. However, I do know that there are other autoimmune diseases (and PBC is considered autoimmune) that will effect your nerves. So if you have PBC you may have something else. Have you been tested for lupus or possibly Multiple Mylenoma?

You are welcome! I have PBC and I have/had Hashimotos thyroiditis (My thyroid was removed in June due to cancer). So I know I have at least two. I may have others. Hope they all keep their nasty little heads down!
