Hi all any one go to the Q E PBC clinic do you have bloods and scan all in one day and also see the consultant do you get your results while you are their have been referred today any info on this clinic and what day is this clinic on I think im seeing a Doctor Andrew Holt. Many Thanks.

I go to the Pbc clinic at QE and it's on a Monday. When I go I see the consultant first and then have bloods done. I don't personally ask for the results but I understand they are available online if you sign up for this service. I ask about my bloods the next time I go, but not for a breakdown as for me this is too much information for me to handle. I have had a scan and seen consultant afterwards and he's had the scan result on his computer for an initial look.

Hi I go every 6mths.they normally do an ultrasound then yougo to clinic to see a consultant...but may not b the one on letter. Then after consultation they will do bank of bloods b prepared several vials but they are v. Efficient at it.they weigh you and do blood pressure before you see consult.normally the scan is in front of consult by the time u get over there.if its first visit you may not get scan but if you are having one you will get a separate appt letter if it doesn't suit time wise...ring them as they will get it so you can go from ultrasound then on to consultation

Cazer 51 had diagnosis for 15 yrs.
