Hi sophie666. I too have pains in my legs that keep me awake ! I don't have numb feet but mine feel like they are on fire. I was told by my consultant I could be connected with PBC as there are so many different symptoms. But he said it could be restless legs syndrome ! He suggested I try and keep them up before going to bed, doesn't seem to work!! Mine are worse I think when I'm tired , hope this is of some help ? Take care sue

I have pains in my legs, feet, arms and hands. My arms and legs continually ache and feel as if they are too heavy to move. I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my feet and hands. My fingers feel numb and stiff and I have difficulty opening packages or lifting/holding heavy pans and frequently drop things. My hands always feel hot, the only way I can explain it is like the feeling you get when you are about to break into a sweat but you don't get the wetness of the perspiration. Like sophie666 my feet are very painful. My ankles and wrists ache and are weak. My feet feel as if they are on fire all the time and as if I am walking on pebbles. My toes also feel numb and stiff and I get shooting pains in them. I have difficulty keeping sandals or slippers on my feet as I cannot grip with my toes so either have to buy those that come far up on my foot or with straps. Unfortunately I don't sleep very well anyway. My mother has restless legs syndrome and was prescribed with gabapentin. She was also advised to use a peddler (like a bike but only the peddles) a few times a day, the combination has helped a little.

Hi I also have all the problems mumofthree has explained , my consultant is sending me for a bone scan ,on the 14th july. what medication have you been given for osteoarthritis mumofthree? .sophie666 it might be a good idea to ask for a scan takecare .

Thanks everyone for your replies yes my feet are burning hot but they also go numb and I have no feeling in them its quite scary I also have pain in my hands and my legs feel like 2 dead weights my feet are uncomfortable in any shoes I wear I used to always wear killer heels prior to pbc now I buy comfy sandels with soft insoles I am going to ask for a bone scan but tbh the doctors have lost my last blood tests which were for thyroid n vit d deficiency so I haven't much faith in getting a scan sorry to rant on but its very worrying I'm waiting to go for a liver biopsy which I'm not looking forward to but need to get sorted hope you're all well n not letting it get you down too much xxx
