Oh yes --- I have very dry fingers --- not just the tips, but palms too, as well as dry feet and toes. My palms, for the most part, stay bright red and no matter which lotions I try or the large amount of water I drink, I cannot change the dryness factor. I do have Raynaud;s which has worsened in the past two years and my hands (to just above my wrist area) are achy and often numb. I've started to notice too, that the dexterity in my fingers is starting to change and I often cannot grip or hold onto items, which makes it very difficult to cook and implement even small tasks.

Thanks Jenner . How long have you had pbc ? I have had it for almost 20 years. Just noticed the numb fingers and toes plus dryness over the last 2 years. Wish we could find a relief. Let me know if you do.

I was just DXd with PBC/AIH last spring and according the biopsy, the stage appears as somewhat mild and my LFTs are relatively low for now. However, the Raynauld's appeared in 2004 within a week of having a migraine variant (which appeared as a stroke) and temporarily paralyzed my right side and zapped my memory. Numbness appears to be increasing greatly in my hands and feet, but I am also beginning to notice it in larger areas of my body such as total legs or arms, at times. As of now, it is only my hands and feet that are really dry. I'll let you know when/if I find relief. I've been through a number of hand lotions and even steroid cream (the dermatologist wondered if it was a form of hand eczema) --- no!. Do you have parallel lines/wrinkles leading from the lower palm (near the wrist) up the thumb? It almost seems as though my skin could be tightening but for now, the rheumatologist says it is not a form of scleroderma.

Thanks everyone. I can't understand why I am so dry. It feels like calluses. And is rough. I have an MRI of the liver on Friday . I had it done three months ago and they said my liver looked funny, but it wasn't cancer. Maybe it is the rough liver. If I find a cream that works I will let you know. Right now nothing helps. It must be our pbc
