Hello Cat19.

By any chance you are not on any medications for bones are you? Know that some people are on this site (I'm not). I recently found out that one medication in particular can cause jaw pain.

I get terrible pain down my legs they feel hot and as if somebody putting hot pokes up my bones,I do get the pain in feet hands arms moves around, but the face jaw pain is hard to cope with.

Hello again Cat19.

It doesn't appear to look like your medications are causing you to have jaw pain. I presume Bydureon for diabetes wouldn't either as diabetes signals the additional of insulin like a supplement. (This is how I perceive urso, the addition of a supplement as it is a form of bile.)

The only thing it could be is the PBC as it is said that we can suffer from bone and joint pain with it.

Hi Val02 I agree all our pains in the bones the mouth is very hard to deal with, also keep getting infections Urine, sinus had Bronchitis in December and now all in my mouth very red extremely painful not ulcers the gums around the teeth inflamed tender to touch I have to use baby toothbrushes and was given mouth wash and antibiotics .

Hello.

I am certain that urine infections are due to the urso myself, the by-product after going through our system.

Myself I have never had cystitis but later last year and recent, I just didn't feel right. I took to drinking plenty of fluids and seemed to get back on an even keel rapidly. I don't fancy cystitis as I believe it is like 'passing broken glass' and I will if I can avoid going to the doctor and getting medications. I have read that majority of urine infections clear up on their own but obviously if something became persistent medical advice would be appropriate.

Out of interest Cat19, has your urine infections been linked with having PBC and do you seek a doctor's advice.

Hi Peridot. The doctor has never said the urine infections are connected to PBC I try all the natural ways to get rid of the infections I drink cranberry juice but have to dilute it. I wash using tea tree wash as its natural antibacterial , I have taken pure natural sandle wood oil the use it in. India for urine infections and thrush. But the doctor sends off the urine sample when it's bad and the give me antibiotics , you are right cystitis is horrid just like passing broken glass, I get stuff from the chemist for this and if its not cured in 3 days a sample to the doctor. The jaw pain must be the PBC thank you .

Hi, i had terrible pain in my jaw a few weeks ago, a friend said to chew chewing gum a few times a day & a hour before going to bed. I know it sounds strange but it did work for me. i still chew gum once a day now and dont have jaw pain at all now.

Jenny 66 the gum idea sounds good but unfortunately when I lost all my top teeth and have a plate I can't chew gum it gets stuck to the plate and I start to gag .

Freedent gum is for dentures. Try that it doesn't stick.
