I remember being asked about 16 months ago whether I would agree to help with the study and said yes but have heard nothing from them as of yet.

When I signed up last year they sent me a pack within a couple of weeks so you should chase them up zipitydoo. They sent me the initial pack and sample options which I returned to them. They then sent me a follow up questionnaire a couple of months later, which was like war and peace which I duly filled and sent back. Good Luck. The more people who take part the more information they will have to try and make a difference in PBC sufferers lives.

I have also taken part. They didn't need my blood though, just a pot full of saliva and a long questionnaire. It was very simple to do, and if it increases understanding about PBC, it must be a good thing!

I took part as well. They sent the pack within in a couple of weeks, I gave saliva as I considered this the easier option, and I also had a follow up questionaire which I filled in. I saw it as way of helping the suffering of PBCers, if not immediately in the longer run.

After my appointment at Sheffield in Jan I have today recieved a letter asking if I would join the study. Filled it in and posted it straight away.
