Does anyone else get sore feet and heels and swollen ankles?

This has been going on since September. Plus a swelling on right leg above ankle. Just recently it's started to look like a bruise but I've had it 2 months. Aches a lot.

This can happen with diabetes type 2 where all the symptoms are very similar to PA. Need to get your blood sugars checked.

Thank you. I had my HBA1c checked a while ago it was 35 ( range 20-41) April.

Yes, I get sore feet and heels. My sore heels make it very difficult to sleep on my back as they sting as if they are resting on granite rather than a lovely soft mattress topper. I find that applying cracked heel cream before bed can help. I also get dermatitis around the edges and on the bottom of my feet in the winter. I think I narrowed the cause of this down to black dye used on shoes and maybe socks.

Yes, one foot and heel has been sore for almost 2 years now. It's worse when I put any weight on it. It's also in the other foot (for the last year). Both feet feel like they are burning. It's not so bad at night. The GP assumed it was plantar fasciitis but didn't examine it. I'm not so sure. I've got the same burning and skin tingling/crawling sensation in my knee and leg too. This was originally diagnosed as sciatica and then as knee osteoarthritis. It feels like nerve pain (although nerve conduction studies said there was no significant large fibre neuropathy). My GP would only reluctantly give me 6 loading doses and 3 monthly injections. I decided that I had to help myself. I've been on eod self injections for a couple of weeks and it's helping with my other symptoms already.

I'm sorry your pain is getting worse. I'm 20 days in on EOD and the symptoms in my leg, knee, hip and feet are changing and getting worse. I'm assuming it's reversing out. On a positive note, my dry eyes are fixed and my gastritis and heartburn have almost completely gone. I'm trying to stay positive and be patient. I've had these symptoms for a number of years and so I'm assuming they can't be fixed overnight. But it is hard!!

I was expecting the symptoms to worsen due to reversing out. On a good note, I have less brain fog and more energy. Several weeks ago I don't think I could have coped with family and 4 grandkids here for 4 days.
