My research says Tylenol is OK for gastritis. That's what I use and seems to be OK. I used to use aspirin but it's an NSAID and NSAIDS are not good for gastritis.

I assume you are asking about OTC painkillers?

There may be others...

Paracetamol is the generic name for Tylenol! :-)

One of the names which changes as you cross the Atlantic.

Adding fuller details:

Paracetamol is the rINN (recommended International Nonproprietary Name (INN)) for the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient.

Acetaminophen is the USAN for the same Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient but only really applies in the USA.

Tylenol is a branding which applies to products containing that API - but it also applies to some products which contain other ingredients such as codeine and some antihistamines.
