Having been self injecting for a year now and in a good place, with all cofactors applied, I’m wanting to test myself in increasing the gap between EOD injections and when I feel symptoms returning to then introduce oral supplementation. So if someone can, maybe from experience, recommend an optimal dose of B12 supplements I would be grateful. Thanks.

I think other people can only tell you what works for them..? But that does not mean their experience will work for your body and its metabolism.
Perhaps it might be better to get a B12 serum and active b12 and MMA now, as a baseline - before going on B12 oral? You can then steer by your own bodies response to the oral route? Otherwise you risk falling back? or buying/using more than you need..? Sorry not to be more helpful.
hello b12,
well I'm EOD inj for almost 3 months when I did Everyday loading 9 days then went to EOD I could hardly make it on the days when I did not inj. so I do the cofactors with liquid oral b12 and squirt in my mouth several times a day not all days are the same though because if I'm doing more then I require more, but it gets me through , I'm still early in treatment still but it was really hard on the day's of no inj. now it's a little easier, as i'm still going through reversing out symptoms as well. I hope that helps you out. it's like trial and error.
If the days without injections are hard, why not inject every day? Also, my guess with your needing B12 that often is that oral supplements are not going to work for you. You could try, but don't go too far downhill before returning to injections.
hello Hockey player,
yes I'm always afraid of that but so far this past week it's been a little better on the day's off, I sure do have to keep my rest as well. I have thought of everyday but I'll try this a little longer to see if my off days keep getting better. I'll keep in touch for sure. thank you for your support, I always read your recovery to stay hopefull.
