I thought that I had a Summer cold, but thought I'd better do a Covid test, as I was due to take the Grandkids swimming tomorrow. Sure enough, two red lines! I suppose this means my P.A. will take a hammering again. 😷
So for all of you who thought that Covid had gone away - think again! ☹️
But on the plus side, I won't be giving a swimming class of tiddly peeps the lurgy! 🏊

Think I've also had it recently, Topazrat, but luckily a much milder form for me, compared to the first time (New Year 2021). It's taking a while to regain taste and smell though, and yes, felt a little depleted for a few weeks.
Take good care - and wishing you well. Tell the grandchildren to hang on to their armbands for a bit !
My daughter, who lives at home, has just tested positive too. She said she's had a bit of a runny nose and tickly throat for 3-4 days. Hopefully it stays that way, as she has Cystic Fibrosis and ended up being admitted to hospital last time ☹️
The Grandchildren will have to settle for the paddling pool in their garden. A lot of people seem to have cold symptoms at the moment. It makes you wonder if a lot of them actually have Covid. 😷
It seemed a diluted form, thankfully, so hopefully your daughter will avoid hospital this time. It was when my taste and smell went that it occurred to me what this even was.
Here in London, whooping cough also prevalent right now. Can drag on for months. Referred to as the 100-day cough.
Your B12 will is bound to take a hammering so take good care of yourself. I caught it in January up the hospital and had to do extra injections during recovery. The bout I caught seriously affected my balance so take extra care. Dont forget to take your VitD and C.
Funnily enough, we went for a walk yesterday, as I thought it was just a cold at that point and I said to him indoors that I felt really lightheaded and off balance, as though I was about to fall over! At the time, we just thought it was the heat. Still managed to do a 4 mile walk somehow though 🚶♀️
You know what to do though this time round -lots of vitamin C and spoil yourself with unusual and exotic fruit! Up your B12 supplementation too - don’t wait to feel the effects. And boost your immune system best you can with herbal teas, and lots of veges and quality protein. Treat yourself with food goodies!
Felt so rotten yesterday and in pain I thought I had Covid. I did a test and it was negative, so guess it’s just reversing out! I haven’t actually had Covid yet, so not sure what it is like, although I have had fibromyalgia’ for 20 years, so it’s probably very much like Covid I assume.
I feel like I have a cold with attitude at the moment, along with a headache and fever. Daughter feels fine apart from having brains farts, as she calls them. (brain fog, forgetting things) and a runny nose.
My husband and I were on vacation in Greece in May and brought home an unwanted souvenir, Covid. We hadn't had it previously. I gave myself a B12 shot the day after we got home and I recovered within a day or two. Poor hubby had a lingering case.
Well done for spotting it. There has been huge quantities of pollen here in the south west and thats causing my Daughter and I very bad sneezing and runny noses. C19 test negative. Hope your better now.
I'm on the mend now, thank you. It knocked me out for three days, but I'm feeling a lot better today, but I would know what number bus ran over me, so that I can put in a complaint 😂
