There is a shortage in USA. How can I order Hydroxcobalamin in another country to have delivered to address in USA? Do I need a prescription? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, Im not sure what HLS or what your meaning is. In what or who's business? I can't get Hydroxcobalamin at all here. Thanks for the Germany advice though.

Yes also 99% of those here use cyanocobalamin but I'm unable to take cyanocobalamin due to allergic. They have plenty of cyano of course. I've been on Hydroxcobalamin for 28 years now and never experienced a shortage before.

Hi! I’m also affected by the US shortage of hydroxo. Currently injecting vials that expired in 12/23 and doubling the dose to make up for possible loss of potency. So far so good, but the estimated availability date for the Actavis hydroxo has been pushed back again and again. I’m nearing the end of my expired supply, so I ordered Pascoe hydroxo from APO Health in Germany and will soon switch to that product. Never done this before and a little scared but lots of people on this forum use it with good results. Best of luck to you!

Let me reassure you that the Pascoe B12 Depot - Hydroxocobalamin ampoules are absolutely excellent . Made by a small German company ( have you noticed that the “ big boys “ of the pharmaceutical industry don’t make them ? - not enough money in it for them.

So inject without any anxiety .

Thank you wedgewood! This makes me feel better. I have a friend who works in pharmaceuticals and she told me that Europe tends to have stricter regulations than the US and that there are drugs banned in Europe that are in still used in the US. You are absolutely correct. There’s no money in b12 production and that’s why there’s this shortage of hydrox that’s been going on for months. It takes motivation to even be able to obtain hydroxo in the US. The standard here is cyano and that’s what you’ll get unless you know better. I only learned about it because of the “Coud it be B12” book. Thanks again I’m going to switch to the Pascoe today

I am in the US, and due to the shortage you mention have switched to ordering from the German site -- it is easy to do (and cheap!)
