I just started 1/6 of my loading doses on Monday and Monday evening I had muscle twitching and cramps in my legs, they subsided by the morning of Tuesday but I was wondering if anyone found this common after their injections? Also headaches? Thanks!

Yes I did together with muscle twitching which was a rather odd sensation. I took a magnesium supplement with added B6 in it which helped. Some on here have said about headaches but luckily that was one thing I didn't suffer with.

Hopefully it will settle down.

Yes i had both .The headaches were worse the day after an injection

I also got vestibular migraines.

This was not a problem before b12 deficiency .

I only had occasional tension headaches before

Yes Hellaheels, almost constant migraine headaches for the 2 weeks of the loading dose - yuk! And I was having very powerful leg cramps before starting injections which improved during the 2 weeks, but have now returned much more mildly and usually appear the day after injecting. 🤷🏼‍♀️ There seem to be lots of fluctuations during the loading dose stage, and for me they are continuing in these first few months of self injection. Two steps forward, one step back at the moment. I described it to hubbie as a buffet of weird symptoms that my body selects from each day - sometimes several times a day! Blurry right eye this morning, that's new! I think like many folk here my mantra is "It's all part of the healing"... 🙏Sometimes I don't realise how much better I'm feeling already, until I read back over my symptom diary from December. So wishing you great improvement x

That is pretty normal Hellaheels. It is your body waking up after not having b12 for so long. It is called reversing out. Your body is thirsty and needed that b12 so now everything is drinking it up and waking up. It can get a little worse before it gets better so hang in there. That is very normal. Headaches are very normal for me.
