Peeing away the Meth

Hello all, If I am taking SE on M, W, & F just one injection of 5mg Methylcobalamin at say around 9:00 am on each of those days. To me, this does not seem like enough. In particular, the in-between days I feel are causing me problems. Low energy, fatigue, and sometimes the tingling in my arms, hands, feet, etc. I feel I am not getting better, but just surviving. Does that make any sense? I feel like of the 5mg, about half of it or more is being lost upon my first pee after injection because it always appears very red. So, this past Wednesday I tried taking half of the 5mg at 9:00 am and the other half at 4:30 pm. I noticed upon the first pee after each of those 2 shots that the red color was barely there. Does that mean 5 mg per shot may be too much at once and I need 2 injections per day 3 times per week or should the frequency be 2 shots every day of the week? Just starting to adjust my schedule. I've only been SE for about five months. Thanks all. MJat.

Hi MrJustatip,

I do hope you have all your other co-factors (B1, 2, 3 etc sorted). Plus, diet, rest, hydration. I posted months ago about the Scottish surgeon Dr John Hunter saying to Edward Jenner, Don’t think the experiment, try it.

So, Hypothesis 1 -

Method = M, W, F at 5 mg.

Result = Recordings of symptoms and reduction of symptoms.

Hypothesis 2

Method - W a.m. 2.5 mg + 2.5 mg in p.m.

Result = symptoms less or same. (But only undertaken for 1 day). Therefore, inconclusive as too early to obtain comprehensive data.

Your body tells you, it does not always do ‘schedule’ especially when it is ‘wonky’. Think of someone saying, Oh yep, on a Friday at 4.02 p.m. I’ll have a headache.

If you fancy you can design your own little tick chart like you used to see hung on the ends of bed in hospitals. Dates across the top and your symptoms down the left hand column. Then you can really monitor results and progress.

However, always know when to go back to GP.

In my experience, the frequency has to be consistent. I suggest daily 2.5mg. Even twice a day 1.25mg will be better. Our bodies need a consistent level and the level can go down when we are due for the next injection. Also, you have 1 day gap once and 2 day gap another time, which is not easy for the body to cope up. Hence, I definitely suggest daily but with a smaller dose. Good luck!

I personally have never regretted an increase in amount of frequency as it has always resulted in more consistent healing.

Currently injecting 2 mg every 4 hours when awake and setting an alarm to inject in the night.

If you will take the time I am curious as to your ml of saline solution that you take the 5 mg of methyl with. 5 mg/?ml.

I think 5mg injected might far exceed your binding capacity and you probably are peeing most of it out, unused when you use that much in a single dose. Probably not harmful but seems a waste. Probably worth looking at other things, don't remember if you tried hydroxocobalamin.

I only inject 1mg each time (1000mcg). 5mg seems like a lot. I could not even get that much into the needles I have. Why do two doses on one day and none on the next day? It might work better to space things out by injecting once per day every day.
