IT B12 BINDING CAPACITY, UNSAT(TRANSCOBALAMIN) LOW - 528 L
Reference Range: 650-1340 pg/mL
I finally have a result that proves my B12 Deficiency that I have indicated has been quite recovered on EOD Hydro IM. The issue is that it went on back order everywhere, and I have been to minimal IM of Methyl.
I finally got my Hydro IM in the mail yesterday, and now I am just trying to figure out how to rebound.
My Glutathione is also very low.
How would one make sure that I get the right treatment moving forward?

have you actually found a doctor who can interpret this test? My serum b12 levels are always normal but when I’ve ordered this test for myself it’s always low (as low as 150) but no doctor I’ve seen in the us knows what to do with the results….
I am rebounding by ordering my own B12 from the sites provided by the lovely folks on this site as well as filling my prescription. Actually the supply for Hydroxo in the US is not solid just like the doctors so ordering from overseas to have on hand has been major in lessening my stress. I was using a vial that expires at the end of the month and started experiencing symptoms slowly over the last month before I realized the hydroxo script I had filled in the US was no longer good. So I've had to throw out 2 - 30mL vials already that lost potency before the use by date.
You are going to have to experiment with how much b12 you need. I'm on half a mL once in the morning and once at night. But about 6 - 8 months ago I was literally taking 3mls injs. daily just to stave off symptoms, but this was US supply so I couldn't tell if you if the B12 had just lost potency. I also take a methyl-folate supplement with each injection so twice daily.
You can buy glutathione over the counter. I had to supplement for a short while and than switched to NAC, which is a precursor to glutathione, when the Glutathione was no longer obviously helping. I added the NAC to my daily regimen as it appears to be helping me.
