Here is one I recently found. Yes inject slowly! I don't swab first for SC & neither do many diabetics who inject insulin, but you can, just make sure to let it dry first or it can sting even more.

The first 5 minutes of the video are preparation.

I find outer thighs and at least 2" away from belly button

I hold a small roll of flesh gently.

Push it in steadily. The actual needle doesn't have to be that slow as so short.

I do push the plunger slowly with b12 though .

Needle straight out.

I just press and give a little rub.

Done

Hope that 'tallies' with the video

will have s look when I can open it !

Hope it goes well.

I do it like you describe Nackapan. The video is more or less the same but slighly different, like he suggests to squeeze the fat roll as much as possible to distract from the needle going - it's a bizarre suggestion. He also injects on the side part of the roll, i inject in the middle and straight down. Anyway I need to find a better one but it was the best I could find on short notice. Lots of videos on IM, less on SC.

Smg I also sent you a private message (PM). Yo can find it under "Chat" at the top. Good luck with your SI :)

I inject SC and gauge the speed of injecting depending on how much it stings. If it stings, I slow it down, if it doesn't I whack it in. The colder the ampoule, the more it stings, so I always give it a cuddle to bring it up to body temperature first.
