Trial with new exercise method.

With injections of 1mg of both hydroxocabalamin and methyelcobalamin with 6mg of Adenocabalamin 4 times a day along with my oral supplements I was able to walk 5K four Saturdays in a row. I walked slow and had to stop on some of the hills of New Hampshire USA. Each time I was stopping less not reasonably attributed to "training"

I ran out of my supply of hydroxocabalamin in the concentration of 1mg/ml and started injecting .03 mg/ml of hydroxocablamin as that was what I had available starting 6 days before my last Saturday 5K.

My last Saturday 5K was not noticeably affected. However my "recovery" was very much affected. I experienced symptoms of high white blood cell count in keeping with an infection. It was not similar to when I went with the EOD method for 2.5 years. It did affect my energy level, hunger, and I had pain in my joints. It was disruptive and three days after Saturday I started injecting .5mg/.25ml 4 times a day while I waited for my next shipment as that was what I had left available allowing for shipping time should I decide to continue with my previous supplementation. I am improving.

After abandoning the EOD methodology as my base 6+ months ago I get much quicker results in any change in supplementation. Before I allowed 30 days for evaluation and now I allow 10. This is not reasonably attributed to experience.

It helps a lot that I have a regiment that I can go back to being reasonably sure I will experience further improvement. It is very valuable to have the information from my experience walking the 5ks. Pretty much walking steady for long periods is not as healing as walking shorter distances with hills then flats. Up the hills I am aerobic and then I fully recover on the flats. I expect that I will use the 5Ks as a measure although if I did not have the availability issue with injectables I might have been able to integrate them into my exercise regime.

I find that more than one form of B12 to be most effective. I do allow it could be simply more B12 although this is not in keeping with my other trials.

I am not medically trained and not advising I am simply reporting my experiences as honestly as I am able. I am not at all evangelical. In fact my writing and reading here is totally self serving in that I write for me. Anything others take from my writing about my experiences is incidental to my process.

I do find the sharing of the difficulties involved in self treating successfully and the victories meaningful.

I may get sloppy a times. I try and use "I" statements to avoid seeming to be an expert.

You make a good point about talking about what works or does not work 'for me'. I think it is valuable to hear about what works or doesn't for others. It is clear from this forum that there is a wide range of different experiences. One of the things that would be good is if doctors would be aware that a single rigidly defined treatment plan does not fit all.

Here is the thing with me. Everything works in that it makes things less worse. Even just oral cynocabalamin and folic acid.

I am very close to accepting the many faults of doctors now I can self treat more successfully than any that show themselves.

Hi Wiz

There is much merit in what you share and I certainly try to learn from you and I am convinced that your sharing have played a pivotal role in my recovery.

I now take all the supplements at once as like you said they work together and I take different firms or B12 and I inject far more frequently that before.

I have made tremendous steps of recovery and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for having the courage to share your experiences.

I shall soon hopefully be adopting an exercise regime to build up my cardio and strength once I am no longer running around taking mum and hubby to hospital appointments- so although I am active it’s not a mind and body building activity if that makes sense. It’s more functional activity instead of uplifting and therapeutic. But no complaints as I have the energy and stamina to do it - by not three months ago.

Keep posting Wiz!

Wow a pivotal role! Great minds think alike than again so do messed up ones. 🙂

I now think of my blood as a biochemical solution which I suppliment through injections and my digestive system. Oxygen seems to know what to do given a chance.

That’s what it is about WIZARD6787.

I remember posting that my ataxia, orthostatic tremors had come back but I was winning Gold in the Olympics of getting to the kettle and even beating horses in the Common Wealth dressage event (trying to shower and dress myself).

Hi Narwhal

I love your humour and positivity- and you are right it is the little wins that make us all champions. It’s not easy day after day pushing ourselves for the tiniest little extra amount of win it is exactly how Olympic champions train.

Fantastic observation - we ARE the champions ! 🥇

Have a listen to the lyrics of Queen’s We Are The Champions.

Decades ago, one of my best friends told me they had a fling with Freddie Mercury. For 1 year, I believed them. 😂🤣

Oh Narwhal

I was thinking of the song as I wrote m reply.

Queen were my teen heros, and still are, along with Bruce Springsteen and Status Quo and Kate Bush and Meatloaf and the Eagles and Blondie - I have all their LPs still!

I find Queen's lyrics very haunting and prophetic. I am really into lyrics - always have been, particularly the opening lyric

I've paid my dues

Time after time

I've done my sentence

But committed no crime

Exactly like us, our sentence to being outside the care system for no reason other than genetics.

I never got to see Queen live, and I adored Freddie, I love watching programmes about him - he was so complex and troubled, and yet at the same time a simple sole who wanted the simple things in life (my take so please feel free to disagree!). I think your friend is very lucky to have known him.

Oh we digress into the wonderful world of music!
