seeing as it’s nearly Halloween, here’s a horror story

Hello all, I bumped into an old friend in the supermarket that I hadn’t seen for a while and passed pleasantries, told him he was looking well (much better than when I had last seen him 2yrs prior). We were both in a hurry though so went on our separate ways. Today my brother told me that he too had seen our friend and that he’d ended up in a lengthy chat with him. My brother related his recent problems with AF and BP and bowel problems along with his recent hospital visit and our friend reciprocated with what had been going on in his life recently. He had been bleeding from his bowel and went to see his GP having had progressive worsening of his ‘tummy pains’ and toilet problems. He was fast tracked and told that he would need 9” of his bowel resectioning. Horrified he opted for a second opinion and after some further questioning and testing he was told to cut out lager and if he must drink to switch to beer or Guinness and to switch brown to lots of white bread-oh and he was also given a diagnosis of PA. So moving on he is still alive and kicking with a now healthy, intact bowel but still being asked to Artex ceilings 😱😱😱

Oh, my goodness! How scary for him and thank goodness that he got that second opinion.

I know but I wish he’d stop Artexing all the same ha ha just so glad he’s ok 🥰
