Correct needle size for subcut si

Thanks to the advice from this community I have been s I for about 2 yrs. A question rre needle size I normally draw down wising a blue needle then inject with orange 23gx1 1/4 (0,6 x30mm. I recently ordered a new batch but ordered yellow 30g x1/2 (0,3 x 13mm will they be ok to use ??

Yes.I use a yellow 30G 1_2 " needle

27-30G suitable

Still use the 21G blue needle to draw the b12 up .

2ml syringe

1mg/1ml single use hydroxcobalamin ampoule

I havd IM and SC.

Have had SC for 3 years now .

IM at the surgery still.

After 9 years of injecting I.M. I’ve changed to sub -cut . I use a 30g x 6mm (1/4 inch) needle . I can only find them on Amazon.co.uk. —Antonmove steel pipe needle . I inject into the front of my thighs .

I use red filter needles to draw up and blue to administer. Hope this helps xx

I use 30 gauge all the time, they work perfectly.

I actually use them for IM in the shoulder and buttocks as well. They work well and super well for anything water based like B12.
