You can have a B12 deficiency with normal or even high serum B12. I recently watched a video about a case where the patient had a B12 serum test at 243 but was paralyzed from the knees down. She was fortunately recognized as being B12 deficient by an excellent doctor (Dr.Chandy) and after 9 months of treatment she recovered enough that she could walk again.
hi where can I find dr. Chandy please ?
I would love to book a consultation
Dr Chandy's book is very reasonable to buy on Amazon and I had it sent to my surgery - only then taken seriously. It is also available, chapter by chapter to read on line 🤓😍
WHAT'S IN DR CHANDY'S BOOK?The book distils 46 years of clinical practice as a GP
"Dr Chandy has been an NHS GP in Horden, County Durham, United Kingdom for 40years"
His site : b12d.org/index
Apologies if I have overstepped guidelines by mentioning a practicioner by name, I will remove if requested.
Hi there Technoid 😊
Could you please tell me the name of that video please?
Cheers,
Lou

Hi, I had serum B12 levels at the high end of normal range, but had all the symptoms of deficiency including neurological, loss of balance, numb hands and feet, dizziness etc. After nearly six months of alternate day B12 injections my symptoms had almost disappeared.
Best wishes x
