Empagliflozin effect-?

I'm diabetic and insulin dependent for the last fifteen years - Recently started empagliflozin along with metformin tablet: The question of abdominal pain as heavy urine retention especially during night forces urination at least two to three times, causing disruption in sleep. Is this because of the new combination of tablets ? Thank you

I tried empaflaglozin earlier this year ,made me very ill with hyperosmolar ketoacidosis-I'm type 2 but still make a lot of insulin,I would discuss this with your doctor if you can
