I guess if pharmacies in Germany are requiring a script to supply B12 in Europe, the same will apply to the US. I waited for the weather to cool off and was going to order today. I am thinking it may be a waste of time now and I will have to have an appt. to get a script…geez!
prescription needed for US too? - Pernicious Anaemi...
prescription needed for US too?
Just try it and see. Some of the German pharmacies are still OK with sending them.
Since you live in the United States it would be easier to purchase from Canada. I get mine through Finlandia Pharmacies. No prescription needed.
I wish I had seen this before I ordered from Germany! Oh well. The order seemed to go through. It was tough last time because it was 6 weeks before I got it but I’d did come eventually so I am remaining optimistic. I ordered more this time as the shipping is the same, no matter the quantity. So I will be supplied for at least two years if this order works out. I will save Finlandia Pharmacy in Canada to my B12 resource list. Thanks Jirl! It can be quite a process but easier than dealing with a doctor/script. As everyone, I am so grateful for this forum.
Here are some other Canadian pharmacy sources for B12 Cynocobalamin ampoules . It’s always good to hav3 more than one source !
Supplies for injecting B12 in USA .( Canadian online pharmacies ) using Cynocobalamin B12 .
biosenseclinic.com Has Cynocobalamin in single use ampoules ( safest method) and multi-use vials .Also have needles
Has same as above .
Also have multi dose vials and single use ampules .
——————————————————————————
Single use ampoules are the safest to administer B12. Several use vials are at greater risk of contamination in a domestic situation , where they are not very rapidly used .

bulksyringes.com has needles and syringes
allegromedical.com ditto. ditto
shopmedvet.com ditto. ditto
It is safer to use single-use ampoules than multi-use vials in a domestic situation , because of the danger of contamination, and the fact that a vial is not used up quickly in a domestic situation , unlike an ampoule which is injected within a minute of being opened .

Looks as if mycare.de. (A German online pharmacy) will deliver to USA
Do register ,by clicking on the silhouette at the top . When entering your address , enter your country first using the drop-down list The USA is referred to as “ VEREINIGTE STAATEN von AMERIKA . Then the computer will accept the rest of your address .
You can obtain Panpharma B12 depot ( Hydroxocobalamin) single use ampoules 1mg. X1ml
And Hevert 1mg x 2ml “. “. “ “
I don’t know shipping costs .
—————————————————————————
B12 can be administered by either an Intra-Muscular or a sub-cutaneous injection .
For an I.M. Injection a 25G x 1 inch needle can be used .
For a sub-cutaneous injection a 30G x 1/2 inch needle can be used .
A long coarse needle , say 21G x 11/2 inches long, can be used to withdraw the B12 from the ampoule. This is needed because the needle is made blunt by touching the ampoule . This would make the injection painful .
This information is supplied to you by a private individual , who has been self-injecting for eight years, using single -use ampoules.
Best wishes .
I went on the site and tried to register and the translation said I needed some kind of authority. I tried to register and changed the country to the US but it still didn't work. Don't know what I am doing wrong. The Canadian pharmacies are quite expensive. Thank you for any help that you can give me!!
As you are a member in USA , it might be useful for you to contact USA member EiCa , who yesterday successfully ordered from a German online pharmacy . You will find her message in yesterdays postings . I believe the pharmacy was mycare.de. They supply Panpharma , Hevert and Pascoe B12 depot — Hydroxocobalamin. The most popular is Panpharma. 1mg x 1ml ampoules . Ref no 16199653 — Best wishes .
Some German online pharmacies are still supplying B12 ampoules to countries where they are a prescription item . So do not give up .
I didn’t. I successfully placed an order today. I am crossing my fingers but it worked a year ago. Thanks for motivating me to buy it now.
Excellent! I’m so pleased for you ! Perhaps I should not have scared everyone with what I found out . but I felt that I should . Forewarned is forearmed ! Let’s hope that some German online pharmacies will continue to supply the prescription only B12 ampoules to U.K and USA 🤞🤞🤞Best wishes .
Thank YOU for the heads-up!
I order from Canada without any problems.
German Online Pharmacies are not asking for a prescription to supply B12 ampoules to other European countries . Sone, not all are refusing to supply B12 ampoules to U.K. where a prescription is required ( that’s why we get our ampoules from Germany , where the ampoules are an over -the-counter item . It is one of the German online Pharmaceutical rules that prescription only items are not shipped to a country where a prescription is required . They don’t ask for a prescription as it woukd be too difficult dealing with a foreign prescription .
Luckily some German online pharmacies turn a blind eye to this rule where B12 ampoules are concerned . But i have noticed that a growing number are enforcing the rule . That’s what was worrying me .
I don’t think this applies to Canadian Online Pharmacies .
The day Wedgewood posted this, I ordered 30 ampoules of PanPharma hydroxy and I am so pleased they came in about 3 weeks this time. (US) I, like everyone, am disappointed that they have only a one year expiry date but they look exactly like the two I have left from my last order. I will likely use them past the expiry date if I have any left. I still inject about every 3-4 weeks but just may increase my injections to see if anything else improves. I have a lot of meds and supps to manage with side effects so I am cautious trying to sort it all out.
The point is, year two of ordering from Germany was a breeze. I am crossing my fingers that this importing process isn’t restricted going forward as everything seems to be changing. Getting a hydroxy script in the US was a nightmare and then sourcing individual ampoules was not an option. I used apotheke-marienbrunne.de.
I hope this is helpful to someone. I was reluctant to buy from Germany because the shipping to US was 33.17. However, I just ordered 3 months (9 cartons of 10 ampoules) worth of Hydroxy for a total of 97.88, including 33.17 shipping. The cyano from Canada cost me, for only one month, (3 cartons of 10) plus $13 shipping was a total of $132.91. So clearly the German source for B12 is much cheaper even though the shipping is $33.00 the ampoules are cheap. and it is better B12 than cyano. I am so excited to try it! I now have 12 months worth of B12!! I am so relieved. Thank you all for all this info. This will save me so much money! What would I do without this place?
No prescription was required for me. So far anyway. No one has called or emailed to say I can't buy it.
I finally figured out to right click and say translate to english using google. What a difference that made LOL😀😀😀
Thanks for the “right click” translation tip. I can translate so easily on my I-phone but not my laptop. You paid less for shipping than I did! My German source charges $40 no matter the size of the order. Fortunately I don’t use that much so it is not a huge issue…especially compared to the hassle of getting it here in the US.
You're welcome. It was too hard from my phone so I did use my PC. Yes, I noticed that shipping was the same whether I bought one 10 pack or 9, 10 packs. So I bought 9. LOL I can not wait to try Hydroxy. I'm in Iowa. I don't know if that matters. It says $40 shipping but when all was said and done it was only $33. and some change.
It will be interesting to hear if you feel the difference between cyano and hydroxy...let us know!
