The pains have been specific and non-movement related. My doctor has not preferred any answers to that

It could be that your brain is mis-interpreting signals from your muscles etc and over-reacting to interpret them as pain and it may die down. It could also be a reaction to an infection as your immune system recovers and starts fighting infections the way it used to in the past - I can get a lot of shoulder pain when I have a cold.
