Statins and PA

Could anyone give any information on statins and B12. I was advised that I should start taking these at a check up and B12 injection today.

There can be various side effects to this treatment and didn’t want it to negatively affect my PA

Really suggest that you speak to a pharmacist.Not aware of any that will impact on PA though there did seem to be some evidence that some can impact on the absorption of B12 when I looked at things a number of years but the evidence wasn't unambiguous ie some evidence went one way and some went the other and it did seem to be specific to the particular statin

Thanks for the update wasn’t sure if I had seen anything relating to a reaction so just thought I would check if anyone had any experience I will speak to our pharmacist for some advice
