Hi all, hope everyone is well. Could someone please help me with B12 injections. I received some today from Germany, but I must have ordered 2ml instead of 1ml. Will it make much difference, or should I just inject half. Any advice please

You need to inject it all as it's usually the same dose of b12 but in 2mls .I've not used these.

Maybe 2 body sites needed?

I have use the Hevert brand B12 and find that they suit me all be it more to inject. I inject all slowly either in thighs or my arms into the muscle.

I hope you manage to get on with them.

There's only the same 1mg of B12 so inject the full 2 ml

Thank you.

Hi. I’ve only got 2ml ampoules left, so I’m having to use them up. You need to inject all of it as there’s only 1ml of B12 in each one - the other 1ml is just saline. I do it all in one site (alternate arms). The problem I have is that my ‘drawing up’ needles aren’t long enough to get to the bottom of the longer 2ml ampoules! So I lose a little bit each time. I will order longer needles when I get a minute. So yes, remember, longer ampoules need longer drawing up needles! ☺️

It depends on your injection frequency and where you're injecting.

The deltoids can only handle 1ml of liquid per go. Yes, you can inject 2ml but your arm will sting and the muscle won't be happy. Especially if you're doing every day or every other day injections. You will affect the deltoid muscle if you regularly inject 2ml.

Only use 2ml Hervert in the thigh and only once or twice a week max.

If you're doing daily then I'd suggest reordering 1mcg in 1ml if you can.

I get on fine with the 2ml Hervert in my arms, weekly. No stinging or pain. I just move around different part of the muscles. I’ll do my thighs every so often, but they hurt more on me. We’re all different and it’s just about finding what’s best for you. I’d prefer 1ml’s, but I’m not wasting these 2ml’s, before ordering more. Good luck :)
