I am due for a b12 injection Wednesday and the last 2 weeks or so I’ve been exhausted . The last 4 days especially . I don’t feel refreshed after sleep and all I want to do is sleep all day (I can’t cause my job) . I also feel lightheaded and out of it almost. Does anyone get this when due for b12 jab ? C

B12
Sounds like you need them more frequently
You need your injections more frequently . Many of us have experienced this . Many doctors will not give them more frequently because they don’t have good knowledge of PA and think if your B12 is high you don’t need them more frequently . ! If you can’t get more regular injections, you can self inject easily and cheaply . As B12 ampoules are prescription only n the U.K. , , we get our supplies from German online pharmacies, where they are an OTC ( over the counter ) item . You can inject either IM or sub cut ( short needle ) Cost? about £1,50 for an injection. information for this is obtainable here !
Hi . I do my own injections and live in the U.K. but have had trouble buying them from my usual source in Germany since Brexit .
Ordering Panpharma B12 depot from versandapo.de ( a very reputable and reliable German Online Pharmacy) , that is strictly controlled by the German Health Authorities .
These ampoules come in packs of 10 , and are 1mg x 1ml
Courier costs ( DHL) €9.00 no matter how many you order.
Usually takes 4 working days .
The site is in German , so you may need to use Google Chrome or a translation app.
It is always advisable to register when you order for the first time . First of all, once registered , you will save time when ordering subsequently. Also versandapo.de run a points scheme if you are registered . You are given 200 points when you register and you are awarded 1point for every Euro you spend . 250 points represent €2.50 which you can use when you pay. Once registered , you can find out how many points you have accumulated by going into your account .
To register or log in , click on the little silhouette of a head and shoulders ( top right on my iPad ) and fill out the form . ITS VERY IMPORTANT TO FILL IN YOUR COUNTRY BEFORE YOU ADD THE REST OF YOUR ADDRESS . Click on the drop-down list of countries. The U.K. is written in German as “ VEREINIGTES KÖNIGREICH” ( United Kingdom)
Once you have done that , your U.K. postal code will be accepted by the computer . The computer needs to know your country before it will accept the rest of your address .
You will need to put in a password of course .
You can pay by PayPal or Bank transfer . Cards are not accepted by versandapo from U.K. customers.
Bank transfer is free if you do it with Online Banking , but costs £25.00 if you do it at your bank .
For future orders , you need to click on the silhouetted head and shoulders to log in . and give your email address and password.

Follow Wedgwood’s advice. I did, took the plunge (sorry for pun, not intentional) and self-inject now, every other day at the moment. Feel much better for it, not just physically b ut I n control of own life again.
All the time, until I persuaded my GP to increase the frequency of my injections. You can use a sublingual (under the tongue) spray to top your levels up. I used to use this in the last few weeks before my next injection. It can really help. I’ve also been told that there are patches you can buy, that will help in the same way.
Until I get more information, I don’t know where you buy these.
The sublingual sprays are available online or in Healthfood Shops.
Hi Annab224
If I’m honest sometimes I get weak before my next injection but only sometimes, how long have you been on the injections? I have been on mine for o we 2 years now and I do suffer occasionally, as for the lightheadedness yes I do get this with a little dizziness and also like a trickling feeling in my head aswell, hope this helps
