After injection Subcutaneous in my stomach two finger under belly button I feel itching at the site if injection almost twenty hours later?

Is that infection? The site is still look like B12 not absorbed yet. Is it possible b12 entrapped and caused allergy?

I have never had this problem in the past?

I took shower before injection and completely sterilized everything like before. It concerned me because I'm traveling and I can't go to doctor soon.

If its not swollen. Not very sore and angry looking I imagine it's irritation from clothing.

Keep an eye on it .

Keep it clean.

Hopefully will be okay.

If concerned obviously get it looked at.

Take care

If itching persists or it looks inflamed seek medical attention when you arrive. I sometimes get a lump under the skin or a bit of B12 leakage after injecting.

Wishing you a safe journey. ✈

I’m having a similar issue; raised circular lump, insanely itchy and sore that lasts about 2 weeks. Specialist thinks it may be that my subcutaneous SI is not reaching deep enough using a 30g 1/2” needle. I’m switching to 27g 5/8” ( on order) to see if this solves the problem.

I had no issue with my previous clinician administered b12 subcutaneous injection, whereas a 25g 5/8 needle was used.
