I cant help you with this one - I dont have a hairy belly or thighs. 😂🤣

I wouldn't have thought there is any need to shave they dont shave you at the drs or in hospital when giving an injection.

Just ty and find a spot in between the hairs - thankfully this is a problem us ladys dont have.

I inject into both thighs and upper arm muscles so dont forget to rotate injection sites.

Good luck and hope you feel better soon. 🤞

I do mark injection spots with a tiny durable bandage. But too much hair is really bad and I try to cut them off. Since I'm taking b complex coenzyme I noticed my hair now growing faster in belly and thighs and even my head patchy grey hair now are completely uniform But still I have physically too many symptoms. I think my patchy grey hair was due to B12 deficiency. Even my eyebrows hair now growing faster and more spots are covered. But still my eyesight is blurry and have double vision with a little improvement. I hope it's not permanent damage yet since my vision was one if my first symptoms started five years ago. My muscle weakness started a year ago except my stomach muscles which was almost first muscle started to show weakness six to seven years ago.

It is good to hear your hair is growing back on your head you will soon have a full head of hair, this could be a new discovery ! I wondered why I had hair's growing omn my chest. 🤣 I am only joking with you.

The awful vision loss was one of my first symptom's too but it soon improved once I started injecting. I have thyroid problems and put my thinning hair down to that - maybe it was to do with the B12.

I have had a relapse with symptoms and now have the stinging and burning back in my legs and feet. Others tell me it is all part of the healing process. I remember you telling me that when you started exercising your symptoms returned !

I am lucky not to bleed when I inject so dont need a plaster on the injection spot but I do change where I inject every time. I hope you see some results soon this is such a miserable painful condition to live with.

Take care

I use fabric bandage just to mark the spot in order to remember where I have injected for next time. No bleeding. My hair color just changed from patchy gray to uniform almost brownish type! Double vision is also muscle related as eyes muscles don't wok in coordination and brain interpret two or three images. We are all different as you said your eyesight was the first symptom was improved but in my case is not the same. We need just to be patient as healing process is so slow but as long as it's ongoing then we should be hopeful

Let's hope we are now going in the right direction with our healing.

Maybe we both tried to run before we could walk which set us back.

I hope soon you will be telling me you are well enough to rejoin your family.

I supose recovery depends on how long our symptoms have been going on and left untreated. I do hope your eyesught improves and your muscles gradually regain more strength.

I have managed to get a good supply of hydroxocobalmin from Germany which I will inject every day to see if I improve.

That's great news you got enough supply from Germany for everyday injection. Actually I have for one year every other day injection but I need to inject every day but I have enough cyanocobalamin. Maybe I use cyanocobalamin as well for the alternate other days injection .I think my muscles have lost their resistance for a specific position. Fir example I can't hold my hands in one position for two hours when I'm sleeping and it wakes me up because of numbness. For other muscles not only U have lost power but also this durability factor but it's getting improved. And interesting part is all of it happens just in two or three months!I have no idea why it was so fast. Soon I'm going to inject SI in thighs if I start everyday injection. But my thighs are so hairy and I need to shave them at least every two months otherwise I'm afraid of inadvertently infection. Anyways I hope these dark days end soon for both of us

I also get the numbness but it is getting better especially in my feet which were so numb I could hardly walk. I sometimes wake up with sudden stabbing pains in my toes. Do you get the loud ear noises ? This is something that is driving me to distraction - it is worse at night.

Remember we feel worse before better because the nerves have to heal. Try and be patient it can be very frustrating when symptoms come back but mine are not as bad as they were.

Try and inject at the same time of the day if you can to keep your levels stable. Good luck, let me know if you notice any improvement.

It's completely unnecessary to shave an area that you're going to be injecting. Just use alcohol wipes to the area prior to injecting and that is all that is necessary.

I agree, the most important point is to make a clean, sterile place to inject. Of course it might help to shave for visibility to know where you poked, or if you always use a band aid, bc taking it off might rip hairs! At that point, make sure you use a razor that's sharp and not dull so you don't get ingrown hairs or painful bumps :)

So glad your hair is coming in healthier! My hair was thinning some and my hairline receded some. I actually have some "B12 shoots" up at my hairline on my face! They're like a little cloud puff of wispy hairs that stick straight up and do what they want to 😂
