I need guidance for thighs subcutaneous injection

I'm trying to increase frequency of my injection and soon I'm running out of injection spot on my stomach. I need guidance for thighs subcutaneous injection .

Hello, I thought thighs were only for intramuscular injections. I grew up with a mom who is a type one diabetic and she only injected subcutaneously in the stomach and arms. Have you tried arms? She would place the arm against the wall since she couldn’t grab the skin with her other hand. Perhaps some SC injectors will have some advice? Good luck to you.

No . Thighs are a good place to use sub-cutaneous injections . Very large injection area , and easily accessible for self-injection . Obviously doesn't have to be only in the area of the Vastus Lateralis muscle where it comes closest to the surface. The whole of the central and outer area of the thighs can be used . I don’t use sub-cut , but I’ve looked it up on the Internet. Lots of information there about it .

I do twice a week lately on upper /right / left side of the thigh.
