It takes time.Keep going .

Go by your blood test . Get a print out.

I need vit d all thd yesr round snd low dose iron maintenence.

I have a broad basic multi vit.

I think I overdid vitamins at the start as filate went above range.

I seem to absorb fokate from food.

200mcg folic in a multivit more than enough for me.

We are all different .

Unless deficient i wouldn't take more than 400mcg of folic acid.

There 14mg of iron in a multuvit generally

5mg in spartane.

Any more on prescription then yih will get it monitored.

Only what I do .it the is more at times .

Apart from b12 I need loads

B12 2as tested with folate in the labs .

Over 2000

No worries about that.

Fokate rarely tested on its own.

Time time

I was told no 'quickfix' by a neurologist .

Wish he was wrong .

Some however if caught early it is

Cofactor means - a contributory cause.

It is still very early days of your treatment and depending on how long you have been deficient will determine your progress with treatment.

We are all different but very few Gps recognise this hence treating us all the same with a loading dose of B12 then 3monthly injections ! Some feel worse before better where as others need more frequent injections which our Drs are reluctant to give - hence some having to self inject just to be symptom free.

You are on the correct forum where many albeit not medically trained will offer advice.
