My GP knew but since retired....... However so much is governed by the local CCGs and the requirement to follow set pathways so GPs are penalised if they act outside of them. Im afraid this has resulted in non inquisitive GPs. If you dont fit whats on their screens nothing is done. Which is why so many are forced to go off piste these days.

Do you know how much is being burnt out on misdiagnosed PA patient. There is no covered test, There is no educated doctors for proper treatment of PA. Why cyanocobalamin still is on pharmacy shelves when its not effective. Why government don't support production of hydroxocobalamin (in Uk dismantled couple of years ago). Why it's not covered or its not over the counter in most countries. Why PA and b12 deficiency studies not being taught in medical school. Lots of disorders and disease are related to b12 deficiency but still there is no media coverage. Unfortunately health care system is broken in most countries.
