I would love to hear others' experience with hyperreflexia as result of PA. I have periods (often in the last days before my injection), when I get low-level random muscle twitches, mostly in my arms and back, then they subside. I have been found to be hyperreflexive in reflex tests since my PA diagnosis. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also have hyperreflexia and mild, but increasing clonus, which is similar. I started treatment 4 years ago. I’m not sure what it means other than that things are a bit out of balance. I think it’s not too bad of a thing. If you are getting twitching, a neurological symptom, before your shot, perhaps the interval between your shots is too long. Seems like a sign you are backtracking a little bit between injections
Well, I really don’t notice it unless I’m being examined by a neurologist. When they test my reflexes, they are quite brisk or exaggerated. Clonus it’s a sign that is typically assessed by someone else briskly flexing the ankle up, I then have 4 beats of slight jerks.
