Anyone else had good results with Tulsi holy basil for calming nerves

Just wanted to share with the PA family because I recently experienced good results with the Tulsi Holy basil . The anxiety attacks and irrabilty issues have decreased about 70% and I also added B1 sublingual which also calms nerves and some stomach issues and better sleep. I read taking B12 shots can rob your B1 which can make you agitated. Don't know it all but wanted to share in case someone might get some benefit from. Anyway take care. Best

Yes B12 does calm anxiety. When I say robbing I read B12 uses iron, potassium, folate, and magnesium to make new cells. Got this info right off the site. Also found this bit of info Taking B12 for long period of time can cause imbalance of other vitamins.

I’m not concerned with the Holy basil; I have read the Wikipedia article on it and seen its use in traditional Indian medicine. All sorts of plants have medically active properties; that’s how we found aspirin.

What I’m concerned with is rather the Mount Sinai reference to B vitamin interactions that you quoted, but not in a way that I could follow it back and read up the context; and nor could I find it for myself when I went on their website. (Probably because I didn’t know where to look).

To quote the reference, find the Mount Sinai web page where it appears, Copy the text in the Search box at the top of the browser, and Paste it into a posting here.

Then anyone can follow it through, and properly evaluate it, as context is important.

Which may be the source of the statement ‘The body can store vitamin B12 for years in the liver’, which came as a surprise to many of us. And is shortly afterwards followed by the RDA figures for B12, a disconnect they don’t seem to have noticed.

I said,I read on THIS site when taking b12 you should check iron and other levels that could be low. Anyway, this is true in MY case.
