Hi

The red marks have just started to appear but not after every injection. I have been self administering for approximately 6 months with no problems. My routine has remained unchanged during this time. I self inject si into alternate thighs , every other day.

Any advice would be much appreciated thanks.

I do sc . I do get pink areas at times. Sometimes small bruises

Same with IM at the surgery

As long as not swollen or angry looking i think par for the course

Try and use a different place . We all tend to uses places we csn reach easily. My arms hot sore from the months of every ther day . Perhaps try some sc ones if areas become sore from over use.

I did that . Csn uses sane areas at a different depth akso your stomach fat 2" away from belly button. Other reasons may be as more cinfidrnt going it a little too quickly o b12 not room temp. I assume changing needles still depending on what gauge you are using a finer one may be possible

If its a pretty Barbie pink, then its just B12 that has leaked into the subcutaneous tissue and will be absorbed naturally by the body within a few days. 🙂

That makes sense 🙂 Thank you

I have never had this happen in nearly five years of SI.

The first thing I do is slip the unopened ampoule into my groin to warm up.

I slightly stretch the skin where I intend to inject with two fingers of the left hand then insert the needle carefully and slowly with my right hand.

When the needle comes out it is often difficult to see where it has been.

I pop a spot plaster over the site.

At the moment I am injecting every four days. Usually just as I am about to go to bed.
