A basic multivitamin a good idea .Also good to monitor folate and iron and vit d especially by bloods.

It's highly recommended.

Unless you have hemochromatosis an A-Z multivitamin and mineral supplement will provide a good balanced level of everything you are likely to need as a starting point. The inexpensive supermarket ones are as good, if not better than some of the branded ones.

This is a case where you don't get what you pay for because the supermarket ones have to adhere to very strict regulations so have to be good and the branded ones just add money for fancy marketing!

As Nackapan says it is good to blood test for folate, iron and Vit D, and I would add potassium and magnesium to that request, especially if you are self injecting more frequently than once a week.

Ideally you will get all these extras from your diet and you can look them up online to see what foods and drinks are rich in them that you will like.
