Why can health places sell b12

Hi just a question .since Iv been looking for vitamin b12 Iv notice a lot of health and beauty places advertise and do these as a treatment how is this possible I thought that b12 injections where prescription only ? Are they selling the same b12 injections as I get from the doctor thanks in advance

They will be the same injections that you get from your GP, it’s legal as long as they don’t claim to treat P.A. They usually say they are for weight loss or anti-ageing !

I've noticed more Beauty salons providing these too. Up to £40 per injection! I might start my own business.. where do they source their B12 from I wonder?

I assume from German online pharmacies, like we do . If they buy a lot , they probably get discounts . If I buy 100 . I pay no more than £60 . That means an ampoule costs 60 pence , then needles and syringes bought in bulk are cheap . . Say one injection costs 1.50 , and an injection in a salon cost £35 , that’s an amazing mark-up ! And it takes all of 5 minutes to give an injection ( I’ve timed myself ) I wouldn’t fancy injecting people - there’s the danger of anaphylactic shock . I know it’s rare , but..........
