Bruising

My PA is well under control and labs are also looking good. I am having a lot of bruising though. I just bump into anything and get a nasty bruise. Is this common?

Glad to hear your PA is well under control.

I am always bumping into things or dropping things. Also bruises.

No idea if linked with PA though.

For me I think fatigue and vision.

Arnica cream good also slowing down a bit too.

I certainly can't multi task in the same way now and have a long way to go yet.

Yes, bruising easily can be a symptom of PA.

I agree since self injecting this last year I’ve noticed a reduction in my bruising especially when having bloods taken also my pain thresholds are not so sensitive x

whilst bumping into things is a symptom of B12 deficiency it shouldn't be a problem if you have adequate treatment. Suspicion is that the bumping is a sign of a neurological problem - proprioception - in which the neurological impulses from parts of your body don't get through properly meaning that your mind isn't judging where your body is properly. If you are continuing to have problems then it may be worth asking for a referral to a neurologist to check that there isn't something else going on.

Sorry I didn’t mean it the way it came out. I clean houses for a living and as an example...I was vacuuming and I turned and hit a piece of furniture with my leg. I use a vacuum that goes on my back. I don’t randomly bump into stuff. I don’t have falls or anything like that. It’s just it any piece of my body gets bumped I will bruise

Well my pots test was negative. I still have the dizziness stuff now and again, but not the heart racing. My dizziness has never caused my to bump or run into anything. I even get bad bruising from getting an IV or lab draw too.

Hi! Are you anaemic? Do you have low platelets or vit K Deficiency? When my platelets were really low, i was bruised all the time. I remember being on shower scanning my body, looking for new bruises. I had this constant feeling of "where did this one come from?". Its very scary, specially when you can't relate a bruise to an specific event. ((Hugs))
