Hello all myself again with another question. As I have read many SI everyday as they have to. Fair enough as I do .... I try to space it our some days but I am in the early days of healing extreme fatigue even though I do feel, and we are invetigating, other potential, causes via blood panels.
My question is.... if there are renal issues for example can B12 help heal internal organs as it is a healing compound.

B12 mainly deals with healing the nerves of our body , and helping to keep our Immune System in good order . As there are nerves all over our bodies , B12 deficiency can have a myriad of symptoms . If left untreated or under treated for long enough , damage can be irreversible .
I imagine healing one thing can have the k cock on effect of helping other parts of our body.
B12 is needed in every cell after all.

GP's as you know disagree with SI and have to go by numbers and feel that we can overdose and do harm.

I would be inclined to say that we will all be surprised at how many systems and organs in the body are impacted by a B12 deficiency.
Since there is a core set of symptoms, plus a myriad of other symptoms that clear up with frequent enough injections-I don’t think you can rule out organs being impacted directly or indirectly by a lack of usable B12.

I took something for a sore throat and headache every day! I also had all the Cardinal symptoms such as pins and needles, insomnia, TREMENDOUS fatigue..
It’s all gone! The only thing I still have trouble with is constipation.
I must self inject at least every five days, that’s less frequent than when I started last summer -then I had to inject every three days.
Do whatever it takes to get the injections you need and keep hope alive!!!
Thank you but I am beginning to discover that my problems may well not be simply B12 and there is something else going on here. I have an appointment with haematology in two weeks time and I hope I am well enough to go as I am still bed ridden
Its horrible.
B12 can heal damage caused by a B12 deficiency.
A word of caution with impaired renal function. It is sometimes reported that impaired kidney function reduces the bodies ability to excrete excess cobalamin and that this can cause some problems. I am not sure how much evidence there is to substantiate this.
