Feosol. Are these claims real?

Hi there I am still researching. I tried splitting my 20mg ferrous bisglycinate in half and it still made me drowsy and horrible. It clears after three or so hours... is it because it's all going in at once?

Please if you could take a look at this product as I would love to hear your views. Feosol natural release here is the link.

Hmmm. It's very fine iron powder.

I'm not sure what advantages it would have over any other iron preparation and many disadvantages - mainly that it will not be very soluble.

Thank you fbirder. My search continues as I don't tolerate iron supplements well at all.

It's a tough one. At least I am beginning to learn the difference between ferritin serum iron transferritin etc. How are you on this topic?

There aren't many papers - this was the most recent I found.

Comparative assessment of the bioavailability, efficacy and safety of a modified-release (MR) carbonyl iron tablet and oral conventional iron preparation in adult Indian patients with nutritional iron deficiency anaemia

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/162...

However, it has never been cited, which doesn't say much for it - though it could just have been missed.
