I’m so chuffed and proud right now 😁 I did my first 💉 IM injection. It went so well and so smoothly. No sting, no blood just a feeling of absolute triumph 💪🏼 not to mention relief 😅 I could not of done it without the help and guidance of the wonderful people on this very special community, thank you just doesn’t cut it 😘

Thanks, Gilly. Hubby nearly passed out 🤣

Well done. It does make you feel as if you’re taking charge of your own recovery, doesn’t it? If I’d followed my GPs advice, not found this site, not learned about self injecting I dread to think what state I’d be in now. Probably bed bound and utterly miserable. Thanks to the HU community I’m ( mostly) pain free or at least pain reduced, can walk 3 miles, maybe 4 on a good day and don’t trip over my words and drop things because of finger numbness!

It most certainly does, 06hollyberry 😃 This time last week I was desperate having been told by my GP that I wouldn’t be able to have my prescribed B12 for 6 months. Feels so good to take control of your own well being and not being dependant on the say so of others who don’t know your body and needs as well as yourself. So good to read you’re almost pain free. Feel so blessed to have found this wonderful community 😊
