How frequently and how often do you inject B12? What symptoms did you have prior to starting injections? Do you still struggle with any lingering or recurring symptoms?

There appears to be little, to no, relationship between original symptoms and the injection frequency needed to keep symptoms at bay. Each person needs to find their own optimum.

I inject every three days. My most distressing symptom was unrelenting fatigue. I also had tingling and numbness in my fingers and toes. I was easily stressed. I also had difficulty falling asleep, it was a very big issue and I tried all sorts of tricks some helped a bit, but it was a big issue. I also had daily sore throats and fibromyalgia-like diffuse pain mostly along the backs of my upper arms.

I had been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and chronic Lyme disease. Two SNIPS on the MTHFR gene as well.

I had read about chronic fatigue syndrome patients improving with frequent B12 injections which peaked my interest and got me investigating.

All my symptoms are GONE with this frequency of B12 injections.

I think I have the chronic fatigue syndrome because of pernicious anemia and the MTHFR gene issue. I think because I was low in B12 and (possibly)methyl folate I could not fight off the mononucleosis which I had twice about one year apart.

This site has changed my life! I suffered for 37 years!!! This site gave me so much information and support that I was able to work with an MD here in the US and order extra B12 from Germany.

This site also saved me. I am so grateful for all the wonderful and super smart people here. I had almost every symptom on the long list and had been suffering for years. My life was destroyed. I was finally diagnosed but badly under treated and two years in, I finally got the courage and information from this group to get my doctor to prescribe weekly injections and almost all of the symptoms are gone!
