Hi, I am a vegetarian and three years ago was diagnosed with low vitamin B12 (164ng/L range 190-800). I have been taking supplements ever since and my latest test has just come back at 1170ng/L (range 190-800). Is this classed as dangerous and, if so, how do I lower my levels? Thanks in advance. 😀

No , you can’t overdose on Vitamin B12 . You only need to take as much B12 as you need to keep any symptoms of B12 deficiency at bay. If you have no symptoms of B12 deficiency now , you could cut back on the supplementation , by a small amount of course .
I have to maintain an even higher level of B12 to keep my symptoms at bay . I have P.A. and .Pernicious Anaemia patients can only benefit from B12 injections . Many vegetarians can manage to keep a high enough level of B12 by eating dairy products and eggs . But some , like you cannot .,Best wishes .

it sounds as if your deficiency was due to diet rather than an absorption problem.
what is the strength of the supplements you are taking?
RDA for B12 is around 2.4mcg.
This forum is for people with absorption problems. So if your querry relates to a dietary deficiency it is off topic for this forum.
taking really high dose supplements can result in serum levels building up because you are putting B12 in faster than your kidneys etc can remove it. If this is the case then reducing the amount and/or frequency of supplementation is the way to reduce levels.
