I was like you.i did get alot worse before any improvements.

Keep going and hopefully you get a breakthrough soon.

Me too, had my first 3 this week and I feel awful too, dreading the 3 next week xx

Hi

I too felt terrible after my injections.

I think I have had 27 x b12 doses so far (x3 weekly). There was a gap of a couple of weeks when the GP consulted again with the Neurologist and Haematologist. During this time I self administered b12 injections.

All my symptoms became so much worse and then there were symptoms I hadn't experienced before. I was diagnosed in June, started my loading doses in July and now in October I am beginning to feel a real improvement. Although yesterday I had an afternoon of brain fog but I know I am still on the road to recovery.

I will review the situation with my Gp again at the end of October.

I found reading everyone's advice and experiences was so helpful. I also spoke to a lovely lady at PAS when one day I just became so overwhelmed by how I was feeling.

I was also eventually able to work through the advice regarding blood results, vitamins, minerals and diet. At first everything was just TOO much.

I was very fortunate that a newer Gp to the practice acknowledged she knew very little about PA but was very keen to find out more. She thanked me for helping her when really the thanks should go to everyone here and at PAS.

There will be much more knowledgeable people here for more specific advice if you need it.

Sorry forgot to say that everyone's journey will be very different. As you will see from reading other peoples posts. Not everyone will need the same amount of b12 injections to feel an improvement.

I think the brain fog hasn't quite cleared.😒
