Hi all, I SI B12 as and when I need it, I use a 1" needle, but I have been wondering, my BMI is 29.5, do any of you think I would be better using a 1.5" needle to get past the blubber 🙄
I know that's quite a high bmi, which is strange because I am a UK size 12 sometimes a small 14.
I mean, could it be possible that I am actually not reaching the muscle. If I wasn't what difference would it make to the end result of my injection.

I think that if the 1inch needle didn’t reach the muscle , it would become a sub-cutaneous injection, which would still work , only a little more slowly .B12 injections are suitable for sub-cut injections in the tummy fat and the thigh .
You could try a longer needle. You will be getting the b12 whatever.
I have IM and Sc injections.
They both work.
I have the IM one at the surgery in my upper arm. At home the sc one can be in your upper arm. 2" away from your belly button in your belly fat. Upper Thighs, and hips.
