They tried to stop mine so I wrote a letter to the practice managers with 11 pointers to why they should not stop my injections , they wrote back saying they wouldnt stop mine it was a generic letter sent to all and I had choice to keep them or take tablets and as I didnt want to stop they would let me keep them, and then went on to say they realised in my position I shouldnt stop them but many would be glad to stop the injections , so i would write to them and tell them why you need them back good luck

It sounds more likely that the tablets are not working and you need the injections restored, Tell your GP your symptoms/

It's not the cyanocobamalin that is dangerous (I've been having it for over 48 years) but the "non- treatment" by your doctor.

I wish you well

Thank you for your message the doctor said my B12 is high .. I know you can get pins and needles with lack of B12 ... I’m not taking anything now .

See #4 and #5 ---- print for your doctor. And if you scroll to the bottom there is another link explaining that serum levels do not correspond to treatment protocol, after injections have started.

All the best.

Just read the article wow that is so interesting!! I am not taking any B12 at the moment. I will give myself a month and see how I go . Thank you again

The tablets will not be causing those symptoms, The lack of B12 will be responsible for that.

The tablets will be doing nothing because you cannot absorb B12 orally.

Thank you.. yes B12 deficiency can cause pins and needles. Doc put me on tablets and I stopped taking them and at the moment my symptoms have gone

Tablets are not absorbed by most. Your pins and needles are a sign you are nit getting the b12 you need. You need the injections quickly.

Seriously since I come of them tablets I’ve been ok . I have just bought a B12 spray from boots and stay into your mouth 4 times a day it’s not bad .

It will be another month or two I think we will see how we feel.
