Advice on GP stopping jabs!

Hi I’m after some advice, (sorry could be a long post) I was told I had a b12 deficiency nearly 2 years ago, after feeling very tired, sick, had weird feelings of numbness in my legs generally feeling like crap...so I had all the injections, then last year found I was pregnant etc then kept getting what my dentist called geographic tongue, and a weird noise in my ears, so went to the docs and saw a nurse practitioner who basically said she had no idea why I’m being given the injections......I’m now so confused so My doc suggested stopping my injections to see what happens, and retest blood in mid August. it’s now been 13/14 weeks since last injection and my baby is 12 weeks old, but he’s a great sleeper but I feel so tired like I’m asleep by 8 on the sofa every night, headaches, pain in arms legs, bit nauseous from time to time, again feeling like rubbish, do the injections wear of that quickly? Any advice would be great as I feel like a newbie to all this still! Thank you x

Tour b12 csn get lower after given birth . Tou know tour body.

Was your b12 very low.? Why did the nurse question why you had them.

Did they make you feel better.

As if not deficient I domt think they make much difference

Have you ever tried oral tablets?

I guess it depends if you’re deficient, I get mine every 12 weeks and don’t feel it’s often enough, can definitely tell when I think it’s due. But the dr always told me the injections aren’t to make you feel better, just to stop feeling worse. Might be worth speaking to them again.

Apologies for being off-topic but I’ve just found that going gluten free has cured my geographic tongue so I’m letting everyone know that mentioned GT in case it helps them too :-)
