B 12 question
Try to buy hydroxocobalamin or cyanocobalamin. The are both better than methylcobalamin.
I don’t know if you can get German suppliers to ship to Russia, but there are many suppliers mentioned here.
If you are absolutely insistent on Methylcobalamin , an Australian company sells it vitaminb12online.com . Free shipping . But as fbirder says , why not try Cynocobalamin or Hydroxocobalamin? Methlycobalamin is much more expensive , and needs to be refrigerated.
is there a particular reason why you need to get methylcobalamin.
There is a lot of mis-information out there about methylcobalamin being better than either cyanocobalamin or hydroxocobalamin because it is an analogue of one of the two forms used by the processes that go on in your cells. The other form is adenosylcobalamin. However, this information dates from before the realisation that the process by which B12 is transferred from blood to cells involved splitting off the methyl/hydroxo/cyano cobalamin element and replacing it with a different protein and then recombining it once in side the cell.
Having said that people do vary in which forms of B12 they respond best to. Some don't respond at all to methyl, some do, and some experience symptoms such as heightened anxiety.
If you haven't tried cyanocobalamin or hydroxocobalamin then it may be worth trying these see if they are effective for you.
Many thanks. I’ve tried cyano for years with no effect. Now I know for sure that it must be transfigure by my body FOUR TIMES before it’s ready for use. I now will try methyl which goes directly to blood and start acting immediately. Probably it’s all individually but I have decided to experience everything by myself. Wish me luck!
Be careful with the methyl. It made me feel really bad.
Could you suggest what exactly was so bad, please?
I took an oral methyl supplement on two occasions and both times, almost immediately, started feeling extremely anxious, jittery, and depressed. It took a full 24 hours before I felt better.
