wondering why gp ordered b12, liver function and folic acid test?

just curious as i thought she was only ordering b12 for the time being! i’ve presented with altered sensation all over my body and hypothyroidism (which is suspected hashimotos but i don’t think she actually tested if it is or not).

It’s certainly sensible to test folate at the same time as B12.

As regards liver function, why not ask the doctor?

i would like to but won’t see her for ages as am on holiday soon, so just wondering if anyone went through anything similar/could shed some light.
