Let me honestly admit, post B12 deficiency I was taking methylcobal 500mcg shots and intially had almost no side effects.. I also took 12 straight shots daily.
From past few months I am experiencing weird side effects .. like breathless ness, weakness which stays for couple of days.
Has anyone observed something similar with methylcobal.

Have you had your iron levels checked? Low iron often causes breathlessness and can make you feel weak.
It maybe worth asking about other vitamin and mineral levels - particularly magnesium if you feel weak - too.
As your body repairs damage caused by the B12 deficiency it uses up a range of other resources and in time these can also become deficient.
It's usually helpful to take a broad spectrum multivitamin and mineral supplement plus extra folate, potassium, magnesium, iron and vitamin D alongside your B12.
As you are OK on methylcobalamin it's probably better to stick to that but be aware some people react badly to it and are better on hydroxocobalamin so it might be worth considering changing if your other levels prove to be fine.
