Long story dont even know if Im on the right forum. My problem started 16 months ago buzzing in feet which quickly went up my leg as a kind of parathesia. Couple of months later fasiculations started and now Im plagued with tight band around upper abdomen. All bloods seem normal. B12 was a bit low so I self inject every couple of days with no effect. Spinal mri was clear apart from a bit of wear and tear. Seen 2 neurologists with still ni diagnosis. 2 nerve and muscle tests were clear. 2nd neurologist said it was health related anxiety. Dont know where to turn to. Feeling desperate

"I self inject every couple of days with no effect"

I often say that the only 'gold standard' test for a B12 deficiency is - 'Do you respond positively to B12 injections'. The fact that you do not strongly suggests that your symptoms are not caused by B12.

I have fasciculations in my legs as well. Neurologist diagnosed it as benign fasciculation syndrome (BFS) but I tested positive for Lyme disease 5 months later. Have you checked into Lyme?

Magnesium, vitamin D, and a bunch of other supplements help me. Also, I use Green Dragon Botanicals LB Core forth Lyme.

Keep in mind that Lyme tests can be false negative 50% of the time 😬. I was negative once on a simple Western Blot test, then unequivocal on an igenex.com test, then positive on another antibody test... good luck with the search!
