Best place to get active b12 test done in the UK?

HI all, just wondered where you guys got your active B12 tests done?

Are Medicheck reliable? Will GPs take this as enough evidence for treatment?

I've not heard anything bad about Medichecks.

Will a doctor take it as enough evidence for treatment? On its own, almost certainly not.

In combination with other evidence (symptoms, borderline serum B12 test, high MCV, high MMA, etc.) - maybe.

Hi,

Have you asked your GP if they will order an Active B12 test? I sometimes offered to pay for a test I knew GP would be reluctant to order.
